Birthday Card For Our Grand Daughter

Hi all! Today I would like to share this card I made for our 3 year old Grand Daughter. The digital stamp I drew just for her and is named Fancy Princess. Country Snowman

Hi everyone I have another card to share with you today. Mitten Ornament

Hi all! For my project today I made a mitten ornament. I used the free mitten template from www.valsdigitaldesigns.com            the digital stamp Gingerbread Boy is also from their store. I colored the stamps using my prisma pencils, All the paper, punches, ribbon and embossing folder are all Stampin'Up. Mixed Media Canvas

Good morning. My project I would like to share is a mixed media canvas that I made for our home. The canvas is 9x12" I used a combination of various papers ,paints, stamps, stencils and inks. I also did some doodling with a fine black marker. This was a lot of fun to make and I absolutely love how it turned out. I will be posting more mixed media projects that I'm working on soon . Christmas Stocking

For todays project I used the free stocking template from Val's Digital Designs. The digital stamp is Santa Hearts all so  from Val's Digital Designs. For the stocking I printed it at actual size so I could make it into a gift card holder, I then cut all the template pieces out laid them on my card stock and traced around them with a pencil, then I cut them out and glued all the pieces together. The image I colored with prisma pencils and all the card stock I used is from Stampin'Up. I still have to punch a hole in one side of the cuff and put ribbon through to hang it on the tree. Hugs Snowman Christmas Card

Good morning! With Christmas getting closer and having some snow on the ground I will be sharing some Christmas projects I have made. For today I would like to share this card I made using Hugs Snowman digital stamp from www.valsdigitaldesigns.com . I colored him using my prisma pencils, the card base is 6x6 and I used Crumb Cake card stock,  I then layered the card with Garden green  card stock and DSP, the sentiment and bling are all Stampin'Up.  Snowflakes were punched with a Martha Stewart punch. Challenge Announcement

I am so excited to announce that Val's Creative Studio will be hosting challenges for www.valsdigitaldesigns.com. Today I would like to share with you what that challenge will be. Since Val's Digital Designs has 50% off  all of their Christmas stamps and 2 free templates in the store I have decided we will be making a Christmas project using the stamps and the templates. For my project I used the mitten template and Stars Snowman digital stamp. I made my project into a gift card or money holder. You can do whatever you like as long as the template and a Val's Digital Stamp are used. Some ideas I had are gift tags. Christmas tree ornaments, cards, banners etc.  The thing I love most about digital stamps is you can resize them for whatever project you are working on. For my Gift card holder I printed it at actual size  and that gave me 3 inches across the top off the mitten ( not the cuff) so a gift card will fit in it vertically .  The Challenge will start on November 15th so click on the Challenges  For Val's Digital Designs on the banner here on my blog  for more information and to link to the challenge. Christmas Blessings Angel Tag

Good Morning! Today I would like to share this tag I made using this digital stamp from www.valsdigitaldesigns.com called Christmas Blessings Angel. For the tag I cut a rectangle from chip board and cut the corners at an angle to make the shape of a tag. I then took some patterned paper and cut two pieces one for the front and one for the back of the tag and glued the on the chipboard. I sized my stamp in the computer to fit the tag and then printed it out on white card stock. I coloured her using my prisma pencils cut her out  and glued her to the front of the tag. I then stamped the words onto white card stock using a stamp from Stampin'Up cut around the words glued them on to card stock then cut around that and glued them to the tag. I also punched a hole in the top of my tag and put some gold ribbon I had in my stash. I hope you all have a great weekend and thank you for stopping by. Val

Punky Boo Christmas Angel

Good morning everyone. Today I would like to share this card I made using my digital stamp Punky Boo angel with braids available at www.valsdigitaldesigns.com The first thing I did was cut her out with a spellbinders die and then I colored her with my prisma pencils. All of the papers and ribbon are from Stampin'Up, the rhinestones are from the dollar store and for the snowflakes I used a Martha Stewart punch. I have been busy in my studio creating a lot of Christmas items and will be posting them soon. Beginning November first we will also be having a sale on all our Christmas stamps and I will also post that information in a few days and I will also be having a challenge here on my blog so keep checking back for the details. Happy Thanksgiving

Since it's Thanksgiving here in Canada this weekend I would like to share this card with you and wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving. The image I used is Scarecrow Sam a digital stamp from www.valsdigitaldesigns.com I colored the image with my prisma pencils then cut it out. All the card stock and the greeting are from Stampin'Up . To make the fence I ran a piece of early espresso card stock through the big shot in a wood grain folder, I then cut the paper into strips and used a tag punch on the top corners of each strip to make the pickets. I then glued it into place ,put  dimensionals on the back of Scarecrow  Sam and adhered him to the card. Thanks for stopping by and hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Val 

Twiggs Snowman Tag

Good morning! Hope everyone is having a wonderful day. I would like to share this tag I made using my digital stamp Twiggs Snowman. I just love this image I think he's so cute.  The first thing I did was color him using my prisma pencils and then I cut him out. I then made a tag using Some Kraft card stock I had then layered a piece of designer paper from Stampin'Up. I then stamped the greeting on white card stock and cut the words apart and glued them on Kraft card stock and cut  around them.The ribbon  and greeting are Stampin'up and the brads are from the dollar store, I also put glitter on the brads but it doesn't show up in the picture. Sara Bear Summer

Good day all. So I'm down to my last completed card I have some images colored ,but haven't made them into cards yet. Tomorrows to do is put together cards and take pictures .I've been busy getting ready for my husbands birthday party on the Second of August. we have 35 guests coming and  19 of them are staying at the farm for the weekend, needless to say  I have been trying to figure sleeping arrangements.Hope the weather cooperates as we have planed lots of outside activities ,but no matter what I know we'll have a wonderful time just getting together.For my card today I used our digital stamp Sara Bear Summer, all other products used are from Stampin'Up. Missy New Release

Good morning! I would like to share my card I made using this adorable digital stamp. I Colored her with my prisma pencils in red, white and blue for Independence Day . All materials are from Stampin'Up. Jessie Bear

Good morning everyone! Today I thought I'd share some of the things I've been doing over the last little while. We were at Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park camping with family and had a fantastic time, the weather was actually pretty nice only had part of one day that rained. Our daughter and son in-law gave us coupons for 18 holes of golf with a cart for mothers day and fathers day for the four of us. What a lot of fun, we had our 2 and a 1/2 year old grand daughter with us she was such a little trooper and was good as gold 'she did have a 45 minute nap in the golf cart, she is such a little doll and loves all sports. We're back home now and trying to catch up on yard work. I've also been trying to spend as much time as I can in my studio drawing and coloring and working on things for my store we are creating a new look for the store so I have been coloring images on my computer for the banners and such it will all be ready in about 6 weeks from now. I'm also trying to set up a schedule for posting on my blog, store, face book etc. so you will have an idea when to check things out. So that's what I've been doing! Now for todays card hope you like it.

Happy Mother's Day everyone! For my card today I used our digital stamp Sara Bear. I colored her with my prisma pencils. All the cardstock ,punches and embellishment's are from Stampin'Up. The die is from spellbinders. I tried a new setting on my camera and I'm not sure I like the fact that it doesn't show the shading on my bear, guess I won't do that again. Look at me 2 posts in one day Wow!

The flowers I made. I still haven't purchased any Copic markers so today I'm going to go online and see if I can find some close to where I live. Good morning! Today I would like to share my card using our Bunny Couple digital stamp. I colored the bunnies using my prisma pencils. I really like the colors I used and think it makes a perfect card for Easter. Papers are from K & Company and Stampin'Up. Pocket with Rose

Good morning! Hope everyone had a great weekend. For today's card I would like to share with you a little information on how I made the card and how I used the pocket with rose digital stamp from www.valsdigitaldesigns.com The first thing I did was print the pocket onto a piece of patterned paper ,I then cut it out folded back the edges of the pocket tabs then inked with black ink on the folds. I the cut the base of my card at 53/4 x 11 1/2 then scored at 53/4 and folded it in half ,next layer is 51/2x51/2 and the next layer of patterned paper is 5 1/4x5 1/4. I then put sticky strip on the folded back tabs of the pocket and glued the pocket in to place. Next I printed the pocket on to white paper colored the rose with my pencils cut it out and placed it over the outline of the rose on pocket on the card. I then created my tag and stamped a greeting from Stampin'Up. The paper, brads and ribbon are also from there. I have a lot more ideas for using my pocket digital stamps and will share them with you soon. Thanks for stopping by. Creatively Yours Val

Little bunny Tess

With spring on it's way I wanted to share my card with you of little bunny Tess in  watering can. I colored her with prisma color pencils . All the paper and embellishments are from Stampin'Up. I love coloring with my pencils but have been wanting to try Copic markers so this week we are off to the city to see what I can find. Christmas presents

I wanted to share with you today some gifts I made for 3 of our grand children. Just before Christmas I saw on You Tube some collages and I thought this looks like fun and something special I could make for the kids. So I took some 9x12 canvases covered them with pieces  of pattern paper and some stamping with some stamps I had. I then drew images of the kids loaded them into the computer and resized them to fit. I also used dies and punches to make the flowers and such.

Oh and by the way the kids loved them! Well that's all I have for today be back soon! Val
