Weekend Freebie Bridal Gown

Hi All! For my card I have used the Weekend Freebie digital stamp Bridal Gown from www.valsdigitaldesigns.com The cardstock, DSP, dies and embellishments are all from Stampin'Up. For the image I colored just the flowers , the waist band and the trim on the bottom with my Prisma  pencils. I think the dress could also be used for a Graduation card. Father's Day

Hi All! We are leaving this morning for the weekend so I am posting the Weekend Freebie from www.valsdigitaldesigns.com  early. The stamp is Cowboy Boots I colored the image with my prisma pencils and everything else is from Stampin'Up. For the panel behind the image I crumpled up the strip of cardstock and then took a sponge with early espresso and brushed lightly over it to make it look like old leather. I still have a bit of packing to do so I guess I better get busy. I hope you all have a great weekend! Val

Roses In Watering Can Card For Any Occasion

Hi All! We all need cards that can be used for any occasion and I think this image is perfect for Birthdays, Get Well, Thinking Of You and many more. I love quick and easy cards that I can make several of at a time and this is one of them, I will however change up the colors for a little variety. For my image I used my Prisma pencils to color it. For the circles I used Stampin'Up circle dies and the ribbon and paper are also from them. I used a basket weave embossing plate on the white background and a polka dot one on the rose red circle although it doesn't show very well in the picture.  I also distressed the edges of the white background with a distressing tool. Graduation card

Hi All! For my card today I have used the Weekend Freebie digital stamp Graduation Girl from www.valsdigitaldesigns.com  I colored the girl using my prisma pencils. The paper, pearls and sentiment are all Stampin'Up  For the flowers I used a little flower punch I got at Wall-Mart. I hope you all have a great weekend! Val

1940s Girl

Two cards in one day! I love this image of my 1940s girl! When I started to draw this girl I wasn't really sure what to do with her I had her face now what? Then I started thinking back to when I was a little girl watching old movies with my Mom. I especially liked the musicals with Ginger Rogers, Fred Astaire, Carmen Miranda and all the other talented dancers. My girl is wearing a hat that is a memory of mine from those movies, some were decorated very elaborately I kept mine pretty simple, but I think she's very sweet. I colored her using my prisma pencils, Cardstock, brads, oval dies and corner punch are all Stampin'Up.
