Collage Rooster

Hi All! Today I'd like to share with you a collage I made for my kitchen. The collage is on a wooden canvas from the dollar store. The pattern for the rooster I got online. The first thing I did was to print off all of the  digital papers, the background wood paper is from pixelscrapper.com and the rest of the digital paper is from nitwitcollections.com. I then printed off the pattern to the size I
I wanted and cut the pieces out, then I laid the cut out pieces on to the pattern paper traced around them and cut them out. Next  following the pattern I glued the pieces into place on the canvas,  after everything was dry I added a little paint on the sun and painted a few white flowers on the hill, I also used a chicken wire stamp here and there on the background. I then  outlined everything with a black marker and sprayed it with an acrylic sealer .  This is the first collage I have ever done and found it to be a lot of fun I already have some plans to some more. Hope you all have a great day!! Val

Love You Mom

Hi All! I didn't get a picture taken of the card I was going to post for a different weekend freebie ,but I do have some of this cute new stamp I've been working with. The weekend freebie digital stamp from www.valsdigitaldesigns.com Is Kididdles In Stitches Flower 1. I absolutely love how my card turned out! I love soft colors so I colored the image with prisma pencils in soft green, blue, pink and yellow. To print the image on my paper I used Microsoft word I inserted the first flower and then moved it over and part way down the page resized it and then copy and pasted twice so they were side by side. I then printed it off and cut it to fit the card leaving room at the top for my sentiment. The Love You Mom I created on my computer and also  printed that off , I then cut them out and glued to a scrap of the gingham paper and the cut them out leaving a border of gingham around each word. The white card stock is from Staple's and the gingham is from Nitwit Collections. If you download the weekend freebie and posted what you made on your blog  please post a comment in the comment box below with you blog address, I would love to see what you have made!   Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!  Val

Dream Create Imagine

Hi All! For my card today I used our Kididdles In Stitches Flower 1 digital stamp from www.valsdigitaldesigns.com The base of the card is Soft Suede cardstock from Stampin'Up, the pattern paper was in my stash which I have distressed the edges of. I colored the image with prisma pencils, cut it out and glued to the front of my card. The words I typed on my computer and then printed off on card stock cut them out, distressed the edges and also sponged around them with soft suede ink. I've been quite busy lately in my studio making cards and putting together mini albums and decided it's time to make some videos of what I've been up to. It's been a long time since I made a video so my Grandson is coming to help me set things up. My husband has already hung the tripod from the ceiling over my desk  and bought me a new camera so I am very excited to get started! Thanks for stopping by! Val

Bella Tag For Easter

Hi All! Todays project I made using the weekend freebie from www.valsdigitaldesigns.com Bella Bunny. I colored the image with my Prisma Pencils and then fussy cut her out. The tag shape I made myself and followed a tutorial on xannero1 you tube channel. The flowers and leaves I also made my own template for which I printed out in several sizes then fussy cut them out and use them to trace around on my pattern paper, then Icut them out again shaped them and layered them together. Sounds like a lot of steps but once you get the first shapes for tracing around it doesn't take long at all The patterned paper is from Nitwit Collections, ribbon and pearls are from Stampin Up.
